A real human reviews every submission. Most accounts are approved within 24 hours.
You take a clear selfie
Front-facing, good lighting, no sunglasses or hats. We use it to confirm the photo on your ID matches the person creating the account.
You upload a government-issued ID
Passport, national ID card, or driver's license — issued by any country. The name and face on the document must match the selfie.
A reviewer checks both
A trained reviewer compares the selfie to the ID. If anything looks off, we'll ask for another photo before approving.
You get your Verified Human badge
Once approved, the badge appears on your profile, every post, and every comment you make. It's the signal that you are who you say you are.
What we do with your ID
- Stored encrypted, accessible only to verification reviewers.
- Never shown on your profile or to other users.
- Deleted from active storage after your account is approved.
