- All content posted on TrueCircle must comply with applicable laws in the user's jurisdiction and TrueCircle's community rules.
- Explicit adult content is not permitted on the public feed. It may only appear in age-gated, verified-adult spaces when those are made available.
- Misinformation, coordinated inauthentic behavior, and bot-like posting patterns are subject to review and removal, even when the account holder is a verified human.
- We do not host or distribute content that sexualizes minors under any circumstances. All violations are immediately reported to NCMEC and relevant law enforcement.
- Every TrueCircle account must be tied to a real, verified human. Anonymous accounts are not permitted.
- Tier 1 verification requires a valid email address, phone number OTP, legal full name, and date of birth.
- Tier 2 verification additionally requires a government-issued photo ID (passport, driver's license, or national ID) and a live selfie that is matched to the ID by our review team.
- Submitting false identity documents, using another person's ID, or impersonating any individual results in immediate permanent ban with no appeal.
- Verification data is encrypted at rest, reviewed once by our team, and then access-locked. It is never sold, shared with advertisers, or used for profiling.
- Minors (users under 18) may only interact with users within their verified age band — no more than one year older or younger, unless a verified family or guardian link is in place.
- Adults cannot search for, follow, message, or view the profiles of minor users they do not have a verified family relationship with.
- Every minor account must be verified using a government ID or a school ID that has been cross-checked with the issuing institution.
- Until a minor's account is fully verified, it operates in view-only mode with no ability to post, comment, message, or follow.
- Parents and guardians can link to a child's account from their own verified profile. This link must be confirmed by both parties and reviewed by our safety team.
- Any adult attempting to contact minors without a verified relationship is immediately flagged, suspended, and reported to relevant authorities.
- Teachers, doctors, therapists, coaches, and other licensed professionals may apply for a Verified Professional badge by uploading their active, current professional license.
- A Verified Professional badge confirms credential status only — it does not grant any additional permissions to contact minors.
- Verified Professionals interacting with minors must still have an explicit verified institutional or family link approved through the platform.
- License uploads are reviewed by our trust team within 5 business days. Expired or fraudulent licenses result in immediate removal of the badge and account review.
- TrueCircle operates a zero-tolerance policy for harassment, threats, hate speech, doxxing, and any form of abuse.
- Because every account is a verified human, abusive behavior is directly traceable to a real identity — making enforcement fast and unambiguous.
- A first serious violation results in a 30-day suspension. A second violation results in a permanent ban. Child-safety violations skip to permanent ban with no suspension period.
- Banned users cannot create new accounts. Attempting to evade a ban by re-verifying with the same or different ID is treated as fraud and reported to law enforcement where required.
- All listings on TrueMarket, TrueJobs, TrueGigs, and TrueHomes must be posted by Tier 2 verified users.
- Ghost listings, fraudulent job postings, and rental scams are permanently bannable offenses.
- TruShop's physical exchange protocol requires both buyer and seller to check in via QR code at a monitored location. This creates a tamper-proof audit trail.
- Any seller found running a scam — including wire transfer fraud, advance fee fraud, or bait-and-switch listings — is permanently banned and, where appropriate, referred to law enforcement.
- TrueCircle collects only the data required to operate the platform and fulfill verification requirements.
- We do not sell user data to third parties. We do not build advertising profiles from biometric data.
- Users may request a full export of their data or permanent account deletion at any time via Account Settings.
- Verification documents (ID scans, selfies) are stored in an access-locked, encrypted vault. Only a limited subset of our trust team can request access, and every access is logged.
- We comply with GDPR (EU), CCPA (California), and COPPA (US minors under 13) as applicable.
- Every post, profile, listing, and message has a Report button accessible to all users.
- Reports involving minors are escalated to our safety team within one hour.
- All other reports are reviewed within 24 hours on business days.
- Users who submit repeated false reports in bad faith may have their reporting capability restricted.
- We publish a quarterly Transparency Report covering enforcement actions, government requests, and trust & safety statistics.
